Hello guys,
So happy you came back! And for those who are here for the first time thank you for stopping by.
Today on the blog I wanted to vent a little about the gym or working out in general, How many times we find any excuse to back out of plans? “Guilty” I get it. We also get caught up in so many things we often forget how we felt when we made that commitment with our body’s and mind to live a better healthy lifestyle not only physically but mentally and emotionally.
I know is it’s easier said than done, but right now is not the time to make excuses I’m tired of hearing myself-complaining when in reality I’m the only one that can change that. I woke up this morning and asked myself how can I make this work? I don’t want to feel like going to the gym is more a burden than something I can actually learn to enjoy. I am lazy guys, very very lazy but I want to change that for good.
A couple of months ago at work I was talking about how I would like to take a self-defense class just for educational proposes you know, and my coworker mentioned to me that there was gym by her house that she saw people kicking and punching lol, and that “maybe...” it was a self-defense class, so my sister and I checked it out, we went on a Saturday and actually stayed to see what was this place about, I loved what I saw, It was not a self-defense class but an intense workout class which involves some boxing techniques, Kickboxing, cardio, and weight lifting, They also have what they call "Rumba Zumba" which is a Zumba class but on steroids and a lot more. That same day I signed up, a week later I booked my first class "Boxing N Burning" the class and the experience was painful and amazing at the same time lol, I had never experienced a workout this challenging, at least for me it was that day, I probably looked like an idiot but I for sure didn't feel like one, I felt like I was on top the world like rocky running up the steps at the Phl museum. It's been a couple of months now and Jose, Rob, Nick, and Ruth continue to kick my ass every single time (My sister and I love it). I didn't come to BUILD N BOX to just lose weight or get in shape, I came trying to find a way out, to let it all out, I found exactly what I was looking for.Sometimes life gets on your way and it will try to bring you down, don't let it happen you are the only one that can change whatever it is happening in your life , do not let what's happening to you define who you really are.

PS: I have also been modifying what I eat and drink. Drinking water is actually the hardest part for me, Pero ahi voy………. I don’t have a weight goal or anything like that I just want to feel good inside out that’s it, something to do something to plan something to look forward to and most importantly something I can enjoy.
I hope you guys enjoy this post and hopefully it motivates you to go do something whatever it is just get up and do it.
