Colonial vibes

Updated: Sep 5, 2018

The weather in NYC gets a little crazy this time a year (all year around really). Last week we’ve had 70-degree weather which is my favorite, it gives me that chance to take out some of my favorite pieces. Usually around mid-August, when the weather gives us those cool breezy days and nights I can get away with wearing my boots, long sleeve blouses or even layering! , One of my favorite looks are long sleeves, shorts, and booties! It gives the perfect balance of summer and fall fashion.

This day it felt like a typical transition to fall weather. I didn't plan my outfit I just reached and grabbed and this was the result, I usually don't plan my outfits for this same reason, when I plan what I'm wearing I stress and they don't turn out as good in my opinion, does this happen to you guys too? Lol.

Let's talk about this blouse, OMG I love it, gives me Colonial fashion vibes, I saw it at the ZARA sale and had to have it. When I dress up I don't like to look like everyone else, I try my best to look as unique as possible, Have guys been somewhere and someone had the same dress or blouse as you? Yes, it happened to me too, NEVER AGAIN! That is why I opt out for the classic neutral pieces that you can accessorize or unique pieces that would give your outfit the umnff it needs. I paired my blouse with my handi-dandi denim shorts that never fail me, and nude lace-up booties to keep the colonial vibe. So ladies, if you see a nice sweater on display, make sure you take full advantage of it because we never know how long would it last!

Bottoms: denim shots Lulu's

Booties: Lace up Miss Lola

I hope you guys like this look as much as I did.

XoXo
